How to set up the THT
Unassemble the THT by removing the screw using the 3mm allan wrench in the package.
Measure where the THT should be based on your bat size. Measure from the tip of the knob down to the handle . Keep in mind your hands should never overlap.
Once you have to correct placement take athletic and wrap it around your desired area. Not a lot of tape is need just enough to protect your grip.
Now hand tighten the screws and place the THT in the aligned spot with the tape. Once the screws are hand tightened use the 3mm allan wrench and begin to tighten. Make sure the THT remains level, and the spacing remains the same on each side during the tightening process.
Now that the THT is securely fastened on the bat take a few practice swings. Also, be sure to check the placement of the THT to make sure that there is no overlapping
There are 2 positions when using the THT
Right hand on top (opposite for left handed batters)Top hand leads the swing. This puts more emphasis on the top hand because now the top hand gets the opportunity to lead the swing. It is forced to stay through the length of center longer. Elbows now stay in a good strong position, forcing a more powerful swing
Top Hand is almost parallel with back shoulder (opposite for left handed batters). Almost at a 45 degree angle up the 1st base line. This exaggerates the bat staying through the zone.
